For an oil-control cleanser, this is a gentle product. Salicylic acid treats acnes via multiple mechanism, anti-inflammatory, soothing and exfoliating even deep into the pores.

There are a few other moisturizing factors including shea butter. But they are at the bottom of the ingredient list so there may not be much in there.

Would be better without fragrance.
