What an anti-aging superstar! It moisturizes, smoothes, and prevents future aging with an endless list of potent ingredients. I am especially impressed with their multi-angle fighting strategies on wrinkles. There are ingredients filling the lines, relaxing muscles to smooth out the lines, reparing the skin barrier, promoting cell regeneration to get rid of the lines…Again, I am impressed.

On the downside it does have a handful of irritants. May not be suitable for oily skin due to its richly moisturizing texture. Also it would be even better if they didn’t put fragrance in there.

Skin irritation
  • contains sodium hydroxide, a strong chemical that is severely irritating to skin.
  • contains benzethonium chloride. As an antimicrobial preservative, it should be only used in rinse-off products due to its highly irritating properties.
  • contains orange and lemon extract that may be a skin irritants.
  • contains limonene which may cause contact dermatitis and is best avoided.
  • contains linalool, fragrant component of lavender and coriander that can be a potent skin irritant, allergen, or sensitizer once it is exposed to air.
  • contains hydrogen peroxide, which is used in medicine as a topical disinfectant but it greatly destroys healthy skin cells and impairs skin healing. Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidizing agent, meaning that it generates free-radical damage. But it is at the bottom of the ingredient list so the concentration is probably not high enough to be of concerns.
