The second abundant ingredient in this product is aloe vera which is also the main "calming" ingredient I assume.

Other than this a noteworthy ingredient is camellia oil. This oil contains exceptionally high omega-9 fatty acids content. It is also very rich in natural antioxidants, such as vitamin E, making this highly stable oil very resistant to oxidation and rancidity. In fact this moisturizer is more impressive in terms of antioxidants (additionally with vitamin C anc A) than calming.

It is not moisturizing enough.

I am concerned about the geranium oil. This is fragrant oil that can have antimicrobial properties but also can be a skin sensitizer or irritant.

aloe vera can have some wound-healing and anti-irritant properties. It also acts as a water-binding agent.

glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
4th ingredient
canola oil is plant-derived lipid that is a natural moisturizing factor. It also has barrier-repair and anti-inflammatory properties.
