This product is very rich, water-retaining moisturizer. The ingredient sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of skin tissue that is used in skin-care products as a good water-binding agent. Another ingredient trehalose is extract from plant that has excellent water-retaining properties.

This product is more suitable for youth skin that requires nothing else but moisturizing. It is nice to see antioxidants in it to prevent first signs of aging.

There is silicone in there to make skin feel instantly smooth and velvety. But that's just temporary.

 cyclomethicone a form of silicone to impart shine and/or silkiness.
3rd ingredient
 butylene glycol is a humectant and help delivery of the ingredients.
4th ingredient
 glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
