For an oil-control product this is a surprisingly nourishing moisturizer.
The second abundant ingredient lecithin is phospholipid found in egg yolks and the membranes of plant and animal cells. It is widely used in cosmetics as an emollient and water-binding agent. The third ingredient sigesbeckia orientalis extract is the extract of the whole plant, Sigesbeckia orientalis, also called St. Paul's wort. It functions as a skin conditioning agent that enhances the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. The fourth ingredient soybean oil is natural moisturizing factor. It forms a protective film on skin to prevent water loss. Meanwhile soybean oil has potent antioxidant properties.
Another potent ingredient acetyl glucosamine is an amino acid sugar. It is the primary constituent of mucopolysaccharides and hyaluronic acid, both of which have excellent water-binding properties for skin.
The ingredient amorphophallus konjac root powder is used in cosmetics as an abrasive, probably used here for its oil-absorbing properties.
In terms of pore-minimizing this product contains large amount of silicone and therefore it does minimize pores. But the effect is only temporary.
A plus is that this product is virtually irritant-free.
