This cleanser indeed used gentle cleansing agents, soothing aloe, and green tea as oxidants.

But on the other hand, there are lemon and orange extract which are highly acidic and may cause irritation. The essential oils used in this cleanser, lavender, patchouli and sandalwood oils, are fragrant oils. Essential oils are not well tolerated for some.

1st ingredient
oj_line aloe juice can have some wound-healing and anti-irritant properties. It also acts as a water-binding agent.
2nd ingredient
glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
3rd ingredient
green tea extract has potent antioxidant properties.
4th ingredient
decyl glucoside is a mild non-ionic surfactant used in cosmetic formularies including baby shampoo and in products for individuals with a sensitive skin. Many natural personal care companies use this cleanser because it is plant-derived, biodegradable, and gentle for all skin types.
