The claimed "breakthrough Turmeric Complex" is the ingredient curcuma longa (Turmeric). It is an extract of the rhizomes of the turmeric, Curcuma longa. Tetrahydrocurcuminoids (THC) extracted from turmeric are colorless compounds that might have antioxidant and skin-lightening properties and might be used to treat skin inflammations.

This eye cream contains a large amount of amino acids and peptides. Amino acids and peptides are building blocks for proteins including collagen and elastin. By supplementing these substrates of protein synthesis to skin, it may accelerate the process of protein synthesis and thus reduce wrinkles. For example, matrixyl is the trade name for Palmitoyl pentapeptide, a fatty acid mixed with amino acids. It stimulates collagen, elastin and glucosaminoglycans synthesis.

There is also abundant antioxidant content to reduce free radical damage and prevent aging. Amino acids have some anti-oxidant properties as well.

Not much research has been done about the ingredient, pro-Dew 400 (DNA Precursor). But DNA machinery is extremely complicated and orchestrated, don't think simply applying one precursor would have signficant impact.

The eye cream is richly moisturizing, too. The ingredient niacinamide is also called vitamin B3, niacin, and nicotinic acid. Topical use has been shown to increase ceramide and free fatty acid levels in skin, prevent skin from losing water content, and stimulate microcirculation in the dermis. It also helps skin discolorations. Another ingredient panthenol is a non-irritating, precursor form of Vitamin B. It can penetrate skin and transform into pantothenic acid (commonly known as Vitamin B5). Panthenol maintains skin water retention and treats minor irritation.

This is a product intended for matured eye area with wrinkles and dry skin problem. Not necessary for younger population.

3rd ingredient
niacinamide is also called vitamin B3, niacin, and nicotinic acid. Topical use has been shown to increase ceramide and free fatty acid levels in skin, prevent skin from losing water content, and stimulate microcirculation in the dermis. It also helps skin discolorations.
4th ingredient
isohexadecane is used as a detergent cleansing agent, emulsifier, and thickening agent in cosmetics.
