This cleanser lives up to its name. It contains proven ingredients, such as vitamin C and kojic acid (Japanese rice wine), that inhibit melanin activity and therefore improve pigmentation conditions. Also there are potent moisturizing factors.

The glycolic acid (AHA) content is proven anti-aging ingredient, but it can also make skin sensitive to sunlight and especially UV radiation. So it’s better to just use this product at night or wear sunscreen in daytime.

Another concern is that the fifth abundant ingredient is triethanolamine (TEA). TEA is not harmful by itself, by it has the potential to turn into an extremely potent cancer-causing agents called nitrosodiethanolamine (NDEA). NDEA is readily absorbed through skin, it can be a potent carcinogen. So make sure to rinse off completely and use cold water to reduce skin absorption.
