isodecyl neopentanoate is a semisynthetic compound derived from fatty acids. It’s used in cosmetics as emollient /moisturiser.
3rd ingredient
cetearyl alcohol is fatty alcohol used as an emollient, emulsifier, thickener, and carrying agent for other ingredients.
4th ingredient
glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
Contains triethanolamine which has the potential for creating nitrosamines. Whether it can penetrate skin depends on the concentration. It’s a severe carcinogen once entered the body.
Skin irritation
Contains lavender oil, a fragrance that may cause skin irritation. Should be avoided by people who are allergic to fragrance.
