I am, very impressed with this product. It does what it promises. This serum will improve the appearance of the wrinkles and give an overall "lifted" look.
These are realized by potent wrinkle-filling protein peptides and natural skin constituents. Such as acetyl glucosamine, which is an amino acid sugar and the primary constituent of mucopolysaccharides and hyaluronic acid, both of which have excellent water-binding properties for skin. Lecithin is phospholipid found in egg yolks and the membranes of plant and animal cells. It is widely used in cosmetics as an emollient and water-binding agent. Also palmitoyl oligopeptides (Palmitoyl pentapeptide, Matrixyl) is a new amino-peptide. It stimulates collagen, elastin and glucosaminoglycans synthesis. So they should help reduce wrinkles.
The ingredient iris florentina extract is also known as iris root. It has astringent, healing and protective properties. It is believed to improve the moisture and elasticity of the skin.
Another peptide acetyl hexapeptide-3 reduces wrinkles by mimicing the effect of Botox. It is synthetical peptide that may relax muscles to reduce the appearance of expression lines, similar to Botox. But some subsequent studies showed it's far less effective than Botox. In the same category the ingredient creatine is nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to muscle and nerve cells.
Besides there is abundant anti-oxidant content to prevent aging. Pullulan is produced by black yeast that has good water-binding and antioxidant properties. Soy protein actively protects against free radicals. So it's a potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It also stimulates collagent production and affects skin thickness and elasticity.
This product is designed for mature and slightly dry skin. Young and breakout-prone skin should not necessarily resort to such potent anti-aging products.
I would give it a 5-star if not for the fragrance content.
