The main effect this eye gel is likely to be soothing and reduce puffiness due to the lotus ingredient. Other than that the antioxidant content is also impressive. So this product should work well in terms of preventing the signs of aging.

Would be better if they didn't put fragrance in it. For this I took away one star.

butylene glycol is a humectant and help delivery of the ingredients.
3rd ingredient
caprylic/capric triglyceride is the mixed triester of glycerin and caprylic and capric acids. Glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
4th ingredient
jojoba seed oil is a good emollient and natural moisurizing factor.
