As an eye product specifically for mature skin, I would expect more potent wrinkle-correcting or fillings, such as collagen or polypeptides, but there is none in this product.
The ingredient iris root extract may have some anti-aging effect as it has astringent, healing and protective properties. It is believed to improve the moisture and elasticity of the skin.
Overall this is a decent eye cream. Just not a miracle-maker.
