This should be a cleanser intended for slightly oily skin as it is oil-free and contains sodium chloride (salt) for gentle exfoliation. There are decent vitamin supplements in this product but on the other hand, there are more than pleasing irritants in it, too.
The claimed ingredient vitamin B is derived from panthenol. Panthenol is a non-irritating, precursor form of Vitamin B. It can penetrate skin and transform into pantothenic acid (commonly known as Vitamin B5). Panthenol maintains skin water retention and treats minor irritation.
One oil-control ingredient is peppermint extract. Peppermint can have antimicrobial properties. It is a mild surfactant and has cooling effect on the skin. But the fragrant component and astrigent properties can be contricting and irritating to skin.
Now the bad news...The ingredient triethanolamine is used in cosmetics as a pH balancer. Like all amines, it has the potential for creating nitrosamines. Nitrosamines are readily absorbed through skin and they have been proved to be strong carcinogen. Whether or not the concentrations used in cosmetics should be of concern is still a matter of debate. Better avoid if possible. If you have to use this cleanser, rinse off completely and use cold water to reduce absorption.
There are also too much alcohol and fragrance content which may irritate already inflamed oily skin.
