2nd ingredient		alcohol are used as humectants that help deliver ingredients into skin. But the fact that it’s at the top of the list which means there is a lot raises concerns because alcohol can be extremely drying and irritating.
3rd ingredient		caprylic/capric triglyceride is the mixed triester of glycerin and caprylic and capric acids. Glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
4th ingredient		cetyl alcohol is fatty alcohol used as an emollient, emulsifier, thickener, and carrying agent for other ingredients. It is considered non-irritating form of alcohol.
