It is good to have UV protection, but the product didn’t indicate what the SPF index is so can’t know how strong, or weak, the protection is.

The moisturizing ingredients are rich enough. Also there are a handful of soothing ingredients. Not sure about the product’s claim about hibiscus seed oil. This oil is more well known for its muscle-relaxing effect like Botox to reduce wrinkles.

The apple juice is mainly used as a thickening agent and pH adjuster, no other skin benefits has been known.

Like other Lush moisturizers, there are actually many fragrant components and fragrance, which make this product irritating.

1st ingredient		lily may have water-binding properties for skin.
2nd ingredient		glycerin transports water from the environment and from the lower layers of skin (dermis) to surface skin (epidermis). It softens the skin. Glycerin is a substance naturally present in skin which helps maintain the epidermis and prevent dryness or scaling.
3rd ingredient		shea butter is a plant lipid that is used as a natural moisturizing emollient in cosmetics.
4th ingredient		ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, also named octinoxate, is used to absorb, reflect or scatter UV rays.
