More than one third of this product is denatured alcohol which is extremely drying and irritating to any type of skin. When necessary only apply to the acne area. Minimize the use. This is a highly irritaing and sentisizing product.

In terms of oil control, this product contains 2% of salicylic acid (BHA). it is a multifunctional ingredient that addresses many of the systemic causes of blemishes. BHA is an anti-irritant and an anti-inflammatory and has antimicrobial properties. BHA has the ability to penetrate into the pore and thus not only exfoliates the surface cells but also inside the pore, which makes it effective for reducing blemishes, including blackheads and whiteheads. The 2% is the highest concentration without inducing skin irritation.
