This is good-for-the price moisturizer for slightly mature skin.
The product is very richly moisturizing and may not be suitable for oily skin. The ingredient acetyl glucosamine is an amino acid sugar. It is the primary constituent of mucopolysaccharides and hyaluronic acid, both of which have excellent water-binding properties for skin.
Many Olay products contain niacinamide (vitamin B3). Niacinamide increases fatty acid contents and prevents skin from dehydration, and improves microcirculation. It may also be a cell-communicating factor. According to Olay’s own research, this ingredient reduces the appearance of wrinkles, skin discolorations, less redness, a reduction in sallowness, and improved elasticity.
The product contains large amount of silicone therefore gives a great deal of slip on the skin. It also helps minimize the look of pores. But the smooth feeling is only temporary and overdose may cause pore-clogging.
There are antioxidants including vitamin C and E, both eliminate free radical damage and prevent aging. Also the collagen content helps rebuild skin structure and fill in wrinkles.
Would be even better if it is fragrance free.
