The product contains significant amount of silicone and therefore smoothes skin texture and minimizes the look of pores. But the smooth feeling is only temporary and overdose may cause pore-clogging.
Many Olay products contain niacinamide (vitamin B3). Niacinamide increases fatty acid contents and prevents skin from dehydration, and improves microcirculation. It may also be a cell-communicating factor. According to Olay’s own research, this ingredient reduces the appearance of wrinkles, skin discolorations, less redness, a reduction in sallowness, and improved elasticity.
The ingredient magnesium ascorbyl phosphate is precursor of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), an anti-oxidant that eliminates free-radical damage and helps the synthesis of collagen. Besides vitamin C there are also vitamin E and green tea extract, both potent antioxidants.
The ingredient panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5) is an excellent moisturizing factor. For the price I consider this is a good purchase.
The sixth ingredient isopropyl isostearate is lubricant on the skin's surface giving it a soft and smooth appearance. But overuse will cause the thickening of the skin and it's highly prone to breakouts.
It would be better if they didn't put fragrance and artificial color in this product.
