The main active ingredient in here is lecithin (Phosphatidylcholine). Lecithin is the natural component of living cell membrane. Therefore it is readily aborbed by skin and is excellent for skin water reservior. So as the name states, this product is intensively moisturizing. In the same category the ingredient ceramides are major structural constituents of skin barrier and therefore important for skin water-retention.
Another moisturizing and antioxidant factor is soybean extract. Soy protein actively protects against free radicals. So it's a potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It also stimulates collagent production and affects skin thickness and elasticity. In addition there are vitamin E and C content, both proved antioxidants that prevent and eliminate free radical damage.
The ingredient DMAE has only reported to prevent aging based on a small study by Dr.Perricone himself, the manufacturer of the brand. So the claims are not solidly supported.
It would be even better if it’s fragrance free.
