Philosophy's Never Let Them See You Shine Cream Cleanser was specifically designed to control oil by deep cleaning pores. This creamy cleanser emulsifies oil on contact then gently lifts it away. Skin feels refreshed due to the calm, cooling sensation that the cleanser provides.
For an acne control cleanser this product is quite moisturizing, not overdrying. But not many ingredients work against oil control. Also it would be better if they didn’t put fragrance in it.
