The active ingredient benzoyl peroxide has been extensively studied and considered an effective non-prescription antibacterial treatment for blemishes and acnes. Benzoyl peroxide penetrates into the follicle where the acne-causing bacteria reside and eliminate them. It's considered as low risk of irritation.
Other than that this product contains many chemicals that acts as cleansing agents, thickening agents and emollients. At the bottom of the ingredient list there are a few natural moisturizing factors, such as anthemis nobilis flower extract and hyaluronic acid. But since they are at the bottom of the list, there would not be much of them.
