Several major ingredients of this product is silicone which gives a great deal of slip feeling. So it feels instantly silky and smooth on the skin. But silicone doesn’t have real skin protective effect. It’s only temporary. Overdose of silicone may even cause pore-clogging.

The ingredient ginger extract has been long used in medicine. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic activity when eaten. It is believed to act as antioxidant topically. However it can be a potent skin irritant.
This lotion is quite moisturizing as well. The ingredient sodium acetylated hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a component of skin tissue that is used in skin-care products as a good water-binding agent. The other moisturizing ingredient is hydroxyproline. It is a fundamental component of collagen and other structural proteins. Whether or not topical use can reduce wrinkles has not been fully proved. But it has proven excellent water-binding properties.
This product contains as many good ingredients as bad ingredients. Overall this product has a lot of alcohol in it.
