The fifth ingredient of this productd is denatured alcohol that can not only be extremely drying and irritating to skin, but also generate free radical damage. It’s on the top of the list which means there is a lot of it, not good news.

The main "brightening" ingredient should be vitaminc C. Vitamin C has multiple functions as antioxidant, skin lightening and brightening agent, anti-acne agent, and collagen stimulator. The ingredient tamarix chinensis extract may have whitening effect but no solid research on that.

The product did well on including antioxidants that help prevent signs of aging, but not so much with wrinkle rescue.

It contains more irritants than normally seen in eye creams. See "the Not So Good".
